Overview

With a decade of experience in IP law, Suzannah specialises on brand clearance and protection in her role as Special Counsel in Spruson & Ferguson’s trade marks team.

She regularly acts in trade mark disputes, including oppositions, removal actions and ex parte registrability matters. Suzannah manages matters end‑to‑end before the Trade Marks Office, providing strategic advice, leading settlement negotiations, preparing evidence, and conducting written and oral advocacy.

Her approach is focused on achieving timely, commercial outcomes that align with her clients’ broader brand and business objectives.

Suzannah holds a Bachelor of Laws (Honours) from Queensland University of Technology and was admitted as a solicitor of the Supreme Court of Victoria and the High Court of Australia in 2016.

She has completed postgraduate studies towards a Master of Intellectual Property and has professional working proficiency in Mandarin.
