Overview

Ray holds a Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering from the Technological Institute of the Philippines, where he pursued a track in biomedical engineering. His academic work included research on wastewater treatment and lactic acid production processes.

Ray is a Patent Executive, handling patent prosecution across chemistry, pharmaceuticals, medical technology, biotechnology, and mechanical fields. His experience covers filing patent applications, drafting and preparing responses to office actions, advising international clients, conducting patentability and prior art searches, and supporting infringement matters through technical analysis.

Ray previously worked as a Patent Specialist at a general law firm in the Philippines where he also managed basic trademark filings, and as a Patent and Trademark Administrator for a multinational US-based energy company, where he maintained global IP portfolios, prepared legal documents, coordinated with external counsel, and collaborated with inventors to support innovation protection.

With a strong technical foundation and experience in both law firm and corporate IP environments, Ray supports clients across chemical, biomedical, and mechanical technologies.
