Overview

Eddie has 7 years’ experience focused on drafting and prosecuting patent applications and advising on patent strategy, including global filing, patentability and freedom‑to‑operate analyses, particularly in biotechnology, biochemistry, diagnostics and medical devices. His experience includes several years in a Hong Kong pharmaceutical company followed by practice at a Hong Kong intellectual property firm.

He holds a Master’s degree from the Hong Kong Polytechnic University, where he researched the role of phytoestrogens in osteoporosis prevention, and later gained industry experience developing protein‑based therapeutics for cancer immunotherapy and neurological diseases.

Eddie is a qualified Chinese Patent Attorney.
