Overview
Amy manages the global trade mark portfolios of foreign and multinational clients from a wide range of industries. To this end, she regularly assists clients in conducting clearance searches, brand strategy management, trade mark applications and trade mark opposition matters. Amy graduated from the University of Hull with (LLB (Hons, Second Upper) and thereafter commenced her career as an Advocate and Solicitor in Malaysia.
Prior to joining the firm, Amy was a Partner in one of most prominent law firms in Malaysia, where she was heavily involved in both contentious and non-contentious aspects of intellectual property matters, including patents, trade marks, copyright and industrial designs. Her experience in contentious matters includes advising on infringement and revocation actions in the High Court of Malaya.
