Overview

With a strong technical foundation in mechanical and aerospace engineering, Alistair Yeo is involved in handling design applications and prosecuting patent applications in South-East Asia countries. He works closely with clients to develop tailored IP strategies, ensuring that their innovations are effectively protected and aligned with their business goals.

Alistair graduated with a Master of Science in Advanced Aerospace Engineering degree from the University of Liverpool, and holds a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering degree from the University of Portsmouth.

Prior to joining Spruson & Ferguson, he gained hands-on experience advising clients on patent strategy and prosecution in a Malaysia-based practice. He also brings industry experience where he was involved in patent engineering and analysis.

He is fluent in English and Bahasa Malaysia, enabling him to communicate effectively with a diverse range of clients across the region.
